IO SONO L'AMORE

IO SONO L'AMORE: on paper, it's a familiar aristocratic-family-melodrama; on the screen, however, it swells and expands into a film that your eyes will want to soak-up - the Jil Sander/Fendi wardrobe, the imagery (sometimes over-the-top but accompanied by John Adams' score, it becomes something else), the cuisine. and for every moment you find yourself worrying that the film might just be eye-candy, there's another moment where you'll find yourself gaping at Tilda Swinton's immense talent.
