today, one our colleagues at Getty Images, Chris Hondros, was killed in Libya while covering the war there. his loss is a great one, the world has lost a voice. click here to see a letter from our CEO.

in the nearly 7rs I've been working at Getty Images, no image (click here) has impacted me more than this shot of a little Iraqi girl covered in her parents' blood after US soldiers fired on their car killing the parents as they didn't stop at a checkpoint. I remember seeing it when we published it and crying - that is the power of imagery.

it's been such a miserable day today in Milano,

i've been pining for sun & heat...
