today, i went with Lau to a small 2nd hand/antique market near the San Siro stadium; as we were leaving the market, we realized that Milano had an Ippodromo, that it had a restaurant (all that funky knick-knack hunting dug a hole in our stomachs) and that it held a large statue of a horse by Leonardo da Vinci. this is truly one of the most impressive, magnificent large scale statues i have ever come upon. check it out if you ever come to Milano, it's breath-taking.
